March is looking like a very good month to start fishing the lake. This is the first year of increased trophy trout stockings. Anglers can do quite well just fishing from the docks at the 12th street boat ramp, but a boat is the most effective way to fish the lake. This is the time of year to keep an eye on the weather and fish when weather conditions are good.
