Anglers fishing the high lakes in the Umpqua District are encouraged to e-mail fishing reports. Contact the Forest Service at 541-496-3532 for road conditions. Hemlock Lake is likely inaccessible due to snow.
Lake in the Woods has been stocked in 2017, but Hemlock remains inaccessible to the liberation truck. There are opportunities to catch holdover rainbow trout that were stocked in previous years. Remember only trout over 8-inches may be harvested, and only one trout over 20-inches may be kept per day.
