Fall Chinook fishing should be slow to fair. Rain forecasted for this week should improve conditions and bring some fresh fish into the system. Bobber fishing bait, back-bouncing, back-trolling plugs or divers and bait, or casting spinners can all be effective methods for Chinook.
The catch-and-release season for chum salmon ended Nov. 15.
