19 Halibut landed on the deck of the Kadaho today (limited) bite was slow at first and then they lit off for awhile then shut off the bite... lots of moves and the drift angle was different on every set that made it difficult to hit the spots right. Then the bite turned on again! Thinking this is it we are done and just like that it shut off again needing 1 fish left to go and after 3 drifts later we finally got the one and blasted home being in a hour and 15 minutes early. A lot of break offs, 22 setups gone and lost 6 alone to Salmon sharks 10 to 12ft long, rod and reel lost overboard. Threw back 7 small halibut with a some that was shark bit, lots of Ling Cod that came up with just their heads due to sharks. Smallest halibut was 32 inches and largest was 41 inches.
