Open all year.

The lake is ice-free. Water temperatures are increasing fast. Targeting yellow perch is your best bet. Fisg sampling by Bureau of Reclamation has showed incredible densities of these fish. A good place to start is the Ben Hall Creek arm of the reservoir near the boat dock. Use small hooks and bait for the perch as most are small sized with small mouths. The reservoir remains 30 percent full.

Gerber Reservoir is a large turbid reservoir. Bank access is good. Boats can be launched as well at the Ben Hall Campground area. There is a nice concrete ramp and dock.

Most of the reservoir is on BLM property.
