Sunny weather and warm temperatures are starting to increase the warmwater fish activity in many of the Florence area lakes, and the spring spawn will be coming soon. This means many of the larger bass will be moving into the shallow portions of the lakes to spawn. All of these lakes have great opportunities for largemouth bass, yellow perch, and other warmwater species. Siltcoos, Mercer, Sutton, and Munsel also receive trout stockings and provide opportunity to fish for both.
