The reservoir is partly on BLM property and remains open. Fishing for 12 to 14-inch largemouth bass is fair. Crappie fishing is picking up with warmer weather as they start to push into the shallows. Redband trout are rare in the reservoir. Water levels are low. The reservoir is turbid but not as turbid as Devils Lake or other Great Basin Reservoirs.
Warmer weather this week might put bass on the bite.
