The reservoir is partly on BLM property and remains open. Fishing for 12 to 14-inch largemouth bass is fair. Crappie fishing is likely past peak but should still be worth a trip. Water levels are low. The reservoir is turbid but not as turbid as Devils Lake or other Great Basin Reservoirs.
There is no boat ramp on the Reservoir. Water levels are low. Small watercraft can be carried to the water.
