Pound-size trout are scheduled to be stocked into Lower Empire Lake this week. Previously trophy trout were stocked into Lower and Middle Empire lakes. Excess hatchery steelhead from the Millicoma Hatchery were stocked into Middle Empire Lake in March. If you catch one of these excess hatchery steelhead you may keep it as part of your daily trout bag limit. Remember trout anglers can only have 1 fish over 20 inches per day.
