Howdy yall, it's Trejan on the Sunrise again. Today, we had a 5 hour fishing and crabbing trip with 12 passengers. After we left the harbor at after 6:30, we went west for 5 minutes again to drop off our pots. Crabbing has been really good local lately so we don't have to go far to set our pots. After setting our pots, we headed north for 10minutes until we got to our first fishing spot. On our first drift, we caught 0 fish. We then caught 1 on the second, and 2 on the third. Like the past few days, fishing started out slow but got a little better. We caught between 1-5 fish a drift for the every drift until it was time to go crabbing. We ended up with a couple 53 crab, so crabbing was pretty good today. After crabbing, we finished up our trip by heading back into the harbor. On our way back, a whale came up close to the boat and I managed to get a picture. During the trip, the wheather was great but the ocean was a little bumpy. Overall, it was a good day for fishing and crabbing.
