Spring Chinook fishing is slowing down on the Nestucca. Springers are spread throughout the fishery, although at this point most of the run has probably moved into the river. Cedar Creek hatchery has been seeing good returns this season. The Little Nestucca also gets a hatchery spring Chinook run and fishing has been fair in that basin as well. Most of these fish stay below Stella Falls.
