Fall Chinook fishing in the Nestucca is slow and numbers are low as expected this time of year, but there are a few fish getting caught in the estuary.

Summer steelhead fishing continues to be fair. There are fish scattered throughout the fishery and as the fall nights cool water temperatures some of the fish that have been holding may get more active and willing to bite.
