Fall Chinook fishing should pick up this week on the Siletz as the river drops back into shape. Conditions should be good for fishing in the river as fish move upstream to the spawning grounds.
Wild coho retention closed on Oct. 15 on the Siletz River. All wild coho will have to be released for the remainder of the season.
Trout fishing in streams closed on Oct. 31.
