Winter steelhead are throughout the Alsea system. The popular NF Alsea fishery is open and improving. This fishery should continue to improve over the coming weeks as more fish enter the system. The later returning wild broodstock fish are starting to be caught in the NF Alsea. Boat and bank fishing has been fair over the past week.

Trout fishing will reopen on May 22.
