Crane Prairie has been fishing well. Balanced leeches in black, black jigged leeches, two-bits, micro-mays and small chironomids have been the best producers. Most of the fish we have caught have been in a bit shallower water (6-8 feet). Stripping a leech on an intermediate line is also productive and a good way to cover more water than an indicator rig. Last seasons start on Crane was slow overall so it's great what we have been seeing and hearing from Crane so far and should be an excellent season of fishing out there.
