Open all year. If you can find crappie then fishing should be good.
Targeting yellow perch continues to be your best bet. Fish sampling by Bureau of Reclamation has showed incredible densities of yellow perch in the past few years and also some larger crappie.. Use small hooks and bait for the perch as most are small with small mouths.
The reservoir is 46 percent full.
Gerber Reservoir is a large turbid reservoir. Bank access is good. Most of the reservoir is on BLM property.
