Cutthroat are available throughout the river. Sea-run cutthroat fishing has been good in tidewater since late June and trout should be throughout the fishery by now.
The Necanicum opens for fall Chinook on Aug. 1, but the run really won’t get going until September. See the Regulation Updates section above for more details on season and bag limits.
