This river above Green Peter Reservoir gets stocked from late spring through the summer.
Currently it is at 15 cfs. Best conditions for fishing are below 300 cfs. Trout stocking has ended for this year, but there are some holdover hatchery and wild trout left for anglers to catch. Now that the heat and the crowds have receded, fishing can be excellent.
Light tackle including flies works best, but bait is allowed.
Trout are active year-round, and anglers are allowed to keep up to five fish daily.
