The Kilchis will probably be one of the first North Coast rivers to come back in shape this week, and there are fall Chinook and chum (catch-and-release only for chum) in the river. Chum anglers are reminded to avoid disturbing redds (spawning nests) and fish that are on redds.

Due to a below average forecast the bag limits for wild Chinook salmon have been reduced. See the Regulation Updates section above for details. ‌
