The Nehalem is just coming back into decent shape but won't stay there for long. According to the predictions, it will start rising Friday evening and will likely be blown out again for the weekend and early next week. The upper river near Vernonia will probably get back into shape before the lower river does. Once it comes back into shape there are good catch-and-release opportunities for wild steelhead throughout the basin.
