Fishing is generally best when flows are below 3,000 cfs. Currently flows are around 2,000 cfs at the Waterloo gauge as of March 11. The river's turbidity is improving as there are no longer any sediment inputs coming from Green Peter reservoir. There isn't much to catch until spring Chinook begin to arrive in late April. Anglers are reminded that bait is not allowed until April 22.
