The lake is dominated by stunted yellow perch. Very small bait and hooks will catch these fish. Yellow perch fishing should be slow.‌

Fishing for warmwater fish will improve with warmer conditions. Fishing for brown trout and kokanee might be worth a try. Fishing for largemouth bass along the many docks on the lake can be productive.‌
