Spring Chinook fishing opened on the Hood River on Monday, April 15. More Hood River PIT tags have been coming over Bonneville, and there should be a few spring Chinook low in the Hood system. The peak of spring Chinook fishing on the Hood will be around Memorial Day.
Bait is allowed and bag limit is 1 adult hatchery salmon per day
