Wickiup Reservoir reopened on April 22. The reservoir is 72 percent full and boat ramps are currently accessible. Initial reports of very healthy kokanee averaging 16 inches and up to 19 inches and some nice rainbow trout, however fish are spread out making schools difficult to locate.
A reminder that Deschutes River regulations (May 22 opener) apply upstream of the markers near Sheeps Bridge
