The reservoir 83 percent full. Anglers report good trout fishing with the Cultus and Deschutes River arms producing fish. Anglers should use caution when landing rainbow trout and minimize the time fish are exposed to warm surface temperatures that can be lethal.
Recent reports of good fishing for 14- to 15-inch kokanee in the relict river channels and deeper portion of the reservoir towards the dam. Bass fishing has been reported as good.
