Interesting fishing this. morning as we had three boats out-2 bigs and 1 small-and they all ended up the final 2-3 hours on south point which is just a little bit south off the channel entrance into the Depoe Bay harbor.about 3/4 of a mile outside There was also one sport boat there as well and all four boats were lined up. on the same drift pattern one right after the other. The reason why was before fishing was excellent in that spot this morning and on a day where there was wind and wind chop out there everyone wanted to stay close to home. There was quite a few crabs on the crab cooker station so I.am assuming that even in semi-rough conditions they were hungry and the folks got quite a few to take home.
