Morgan Lake is now back open after the Oregon Department of Forestry downgraded the fire danger from extreme to high. Morgan Lake was sampled on Aug. 16 and there are many nice rainbow trout in the lake. Sampling also found multiple large bullhead catfish, small largemouth bass and smaller crappie.

Blitzen River: The Blitzen is flowing around 45 cfs
Bully Creek Reservoir: The reservoir is around 45 percent full
Delintment Lake: Fishing should be great
Fourmile Lake: The lake is currently 11 percent full
Gerber Reservoir: Fishing should be improving for brown bullhead and yellow perch
Upper Klamath Lake: A few redband trout have moved out into the lake

Lake Of The Woods: Fishing for warmwater fish should be good this week with continued warm weather
Link River : Flows have increased to 1,200 cfs
Malheur Reservoir: Malheur Reservoir still has plenty of water and the boat ramp is usable
Phillips Reservoir: Phillips Reservoir has drained substantially this summer and is only about 1/3 full
Pole Creek Reservoir: Pole Creek Reservoir filled up this spring
Thief Valley Reservoir: Thief Valley has drained completely and is only 2 percent full
Warm Springs Reservoir: Warm springs is around 56 percent full right now
Wood River: The Wood River should continue improving for brown trout this week
Yellowjacket Lake: Fishing for holdover trout on Yellowjacket has been great this spring
Agate Lake: Agate Lake is 40 percent full
Applegate Reservoir: Applegate's reservoir level is currently at 1,942 feet or 57 percent full
Cooper Creek Reservoir: Bass fishing should also be good
Emigrant Reservoir: Emigrant is 21 percent full and water is being released for irrigation season
Fish Lake : Fish Lake is 55 percent full and anglers continue to do well
Galesville Reservoir: The reservoir should be mostly full
Howard Prairie Reservoir: Howard Prairie is 44 percent full
Hyatt Lake: Hyatt is currently 44 percent full
Lake Marie: Lake Marie can be a good option to escape the valley heat
Lost Creek Lake: Trollers have had good success at Lost Creek on holdover and stocked trout
Rogue River- Lower: Rain last week raised the river and dropped water temperatures
Rogue River - Middle: Flow in Grants Pass is about 1,900 cfs with a water temperature of around 66F
Rogue River- Upper: The upper Rogue above Dodge Bridge to the hatchery is now closed to Chinook angling
Rogue River- Upper (Above Lost Creek): The Rogue above Lost Creek is open for fishing and with flows dropping fishing has been good
Sixes River: August is a good time to look for sea-run cutthroat in the lower river
Umpqua River: Some anglers are reportedly getting some large smallmouth
Alsea River: Fall Chinook is back open on the Alsea River!
Kilchis River: Fishing for cutthroat trout should be fair to good throughout the river
Necanicum River: Trout fishing should be fair to good

Nestucca River: Summer steelhead are in the Nestucca and there are some fish being caught
Salmon River: The Salmon River is back open for Fall Chinook
Siletz River: Anglers have still been catching summer steelhead throughout the Siletz Gorge
Siuslaw River: Fall Chinook is back open on the Siuslaw
Trask River: Cutthroat trout fishing should be fair to good
Wilson River: Trout fishing should be fair throughout the river
Yaquina River: Chinook fishing is open on the Yaquina
Green Peter Reservoir: The water level in Green Peter is about 48 feet below full pool and dropping slowly
Quartzville Creek: Flows on Aug. 19 were around 36 cfs and will continue to drop as the summer continues
Santiam River ( North Fork) : The river is currently running at around 1,030 cfs at the gauge in Mehama
Santiam River (South Fork): Flows are currently in great shape, about 900 cfs at the Waterloo gauge
Sandy River: Summer chrome
Crane Prairie Reservoir: The reservoir 72 percent full
Crescent Lake: Crescent Lake is currently 15 percent full
Deschutes River: There was a big storm on the lower Deschutes over the weekend
Haystack Reservoir: Haystack is currently at 71 percent full
Ochoco Reservoir: The reservoir is 64 percent full
Paulina Lake: Anglers report productive rainbow and brown trout fishing with some brown trout
Prinevile Reservoir: Prineville Reservoir at 72 percent full
Wickiup Reservoir: Wickiup Reservoir is 32 percent full
