NORTH FORK SPRAGUE RIVER AND ALL TRIBUTARIES:

Open year-round. The area upstream of the Elbow should be good for redband trout and brown trout. Water temperatures are perfect. Large stoneflies will be hatching in this pocket water area. Bait fishing near Lee Thomas Meadows for brook trout should be good. Fishing the beaver pond areas upstream should be productive. Fishing dry flies can be productive. 

SOUTH FORK SPRAGUE RIVER AND ALL TRIBUTARIES:

Open year-round. Fishing will be good for brook trout. Brook trout will concentrate for spawning. Brook trout fishing can be good along FS road 34 at the beaver dams just below Corral Creek. Please release adipose fin clipped Brook Trout. Grasshoppers are abundant especially below Camp Creek. Dry fly fishing will be good in this area. The area near Blaisdell has fair fishing for redband trout especially near the beaver pond areas
