The Trask has a hatchery coho salmon run, and those fish are throughout the fishery. Fishing has been fair and there are still some bright hatchery coho coming in. The Trask is dropping into shape and should fish well over the holiday weekend.

Winter steelhead fishing won't pick up on the Trask for a few weeks and usually gets going in late December.

Fall Chinook season on the Trask ends Nov. 30 (see regulation updates for details).
