Anglers are picking up a few steelhead, along with Chinook. The current weather pattern has kept the river fishing pretty good. Anglers that can fish as the flow conditions start to drop and before the river clears have been having the best success.
This is a good time of year to see Chinook as they return to the Elk River Hatchery, where fish have been returning in good numbers.
