2 of our boats today got limits of Rockfish and the others came close.  The Lingcod bite was a little more than 1 per rod.  We did get some nice size ones but we love getting pictures of our youngins with nice fish.  Nathan was so proud of his Lingcod we had to put it up for him.  Well dun Nathan!!  We are so happy you had a great time. He threw 3 more back that were just shy of the minimum size of 22 inches and got all of his Rockfish!
Update: The file type was not allowed for our fish report to accept the picture Nathan's mom sent us.  We think it was just too big!  We still wanted to report on his great day.  That is Nathan and his folks to the right.

The swells were fairly close together which can make for tough fishing with the boats rocking a little more than usual.  It' makes it more difficult to keep those lures close to the bottom without jerking them away from the toothy critters.

Crabbing is starting to pick up with at least 2 per person.  The commercial pots are starting to get pulled for the year so this is when it usually starts getting much better.

Tomorrow and Monday looks like nice conditions with a slight swell returning Tuesday for a couple of days.
