The middle river is stable around 100cfs and the cool nights are keeping water temps within acceptable ranges. The evening PED hatch has been great at times, and caddis are already thick. You really don't need to fish sub-surface here to catch fish, and I can't think of a better reason to go fish this portion of the Deschutes!
