I have been getting consistently good reports from the Crooked so I upgraded this from FAIR to GOOD this week. The trout being caught are mainly 8-12" wild rainbows and plenty of whities. The canyon is beautiful and the scenery alone is worth the trip out there. Hot summer days are very slow out there. However, cooler days will produce fish!! Focus your fishing time when the sun is off the water. Cooler, overcast days may fish better and mornings may be best. Be careful of Rattlers out there!!
DRIES: Adams, Purple comparadun, PMD, caddis NYMPHS: Scuds, midges, caddis, angel case emerger, brassie.
