The bull trout fishing has been really good for the anglers who can ignore the presence of steelhead nearby! Egg patterns, flesh flies, and the usual assortment of big and ugly have been producing. We are also having some intense BWO hatches that the rainbows can't quite ignore. Throw in some October Caddis and the usual fall smatterings, and the trout are on a feeding binge you might be lucky enough to intercept. Almost all the reports from the Metolius this week have been thumbs up.
