There should be lots of trout available for anglers as we have stocked close to 10,000 trout in the reservoir. Pressure has been light, but with good weather in the forecast a trip to Galesville might be in the cards. Anglers have been talking about how great Galesville had been last year, and it should be shaping up for the same this year.
Call 541-837-3302 for information on camping and boat launching conditions. Check out the Lake Level Gage for more information.
In Galesville Reservoir, all landlocked salmon are considered trout and are part of the five-per-day trout limit, with only one trout over 20 inches long allowed for harvest. If you catch any salmon in Galesville please e-mail a picture to [email protected].
