Largemouth bass fishing is improving in Tenmile Lakes. The lake surface water temperature is in the mid to upper 60s which has lots of largemouth bass in the shallow for spawning. There also are several largemouth bass that will be in post-spawn mode transitioning from the shallow water out to deeper water. This is a good time of the year to catch the biggest bass in the lake.

Trout fishing in rivers and streams opens May 22. Angling is restricted to artificial flies and lures in streams above tidewater from May 22-Aug 31.   Trout fishing in the lakes is open year-round. As the midges are hatching in Tenmile Lakes, trout can be caught closer to the surface
