Open and accessible all year. Fishing for crappie and largemouth bass has been sporadically good if you are there at the right time. The hot spell coming this weekend should improve the fishing. Recent sampling showed good numbers of largemouth bass and small pumpkinseed in the shallows near cover.

Keep in mind that aquatic vegetation is very dense and can make fishing quite challenging.

There are abundant brown bullhead catfish. Fishing bait at night should be very effective. Large goldfish up 12 inches are also abundant but rarely caught.

Water levels generally remain very similar and drop as the day progresses as water is released for power generation. There are numerous points of access on the reservoir as most property surrounding the reservoir is BLM or PacifiCorp property. There are three boat ramps on the reservoir.
