Algae is becoming prevalent, and fishing conditions will likely deteriorate as the reservoir continues to drop. For those that do fish Thief Valley, some good-size rainbow trout are available as well as some decent-size yellow perch. Rainbow trout can be found throughout the reservoir, and anglers should look for perch in deeper water.‌
