We at Tradwinds wish All a wonderful Holiday Season!  The foreseeable forecast looks like very high swells through the season so come on down and watch the spectacle if you get a chance.  Unfortunately it's looking like we won't be able to get out but this gives us time to spend with our family and friends.

This Ophiodon Elongatus was caught by a frequent client who has become a real friend to all of us.  The ODFW has issued new limits on Rockfish for the 2025 season and it is fairly better news than we expected.  It will be 4 Rockfish until June 30th then raised back to 5 for remainder of the season.  This was good news to us as they were looking at things much worse.  The good news is the 1st half of the year is when we get the giant Lings like above so we can all fish with confidence still.  They even considered raising the Ling Limit to 3 if they cut too much into the Rockfish Limit!  The Lings are still going really strong!
