Golden stones continue to be present out here along with a plethora of caddis and mayfly species. What a great place to challenge both your fly fishing prowess and your luck. It is a beautiful place to fish, just make sure that you adjust your expectations accordingly. Long leaders and fine tippets rule, and florocarbon tippet helps a lot.

Deschutes RiverTrout:The caddis remain thick and there are often huge clouds present in the evenings as long as it doesn't get too breezy. We are still seeing persistent PMD and PED hatches and the trout are looking for these mayflies with some regularity.
