Bass fishing seems to be good on the South with anglers reporting good numbers of fish. Trout fishing is open for catch-and-release in the mainstem and tributaries below the Jackson Creek bridge.

Imnaha River: Fishing pressure for Chinook salmon picked up over the weekend
John Day River: Conditions for bass and catfish fishing are improving
