Fall Chinook fishing opened on the Yaquina on August 1st. Fishing typically doesn’t pick up for Fall Chinook fishing until the end of August and early September. Time to get ready for the 2022 Fall Chinook season!
Trout fishing in streams opened on May 22. Cutthroat trout are available throughout the Yaquina/Big Elk basins and provide good opportunity for spring fishing.
