The Metolius is a spring fed river and will have consistent river temps throughout the year. Look for Blue Wings and PMD's in the afternoon, also October Caddis nymphs can be a good subsurface fly this time of year. The Bull Trout are beginning to spawn and will be aggressive, throw big heavy streamers.
